Watercolor painting of the Ponce Inlet Lighthouse during the daytime. Its a tall brick tower with the keeper's house.

Watercolor painting of Ponce Inlet Lighthouse

One of my favorite lighthouses, the Ponce Inlet, Florida lighthouse is a National Historic Landmark and one of the nation's best preserved.  Completed in 1887, it remains a working aid to navigation and features the original keepers' dwellings.  The tall brick tower has 203 steps.  Perfect for the lighthouse lover and history buff, this watercolor painting captures the quaint beauty of this lighthouse using texture, color and delicate linework.  The painting was inspired by a photograph taken by my sister, Cindy Wilkins and has a companion painting of the same lighthouse photographed at night.

9" x 12" watercolor and archival ink on 100% cotton paper.

Original artwork comes unframed to allow it's new owner to decide what fits best in their home.
